On January 21, 2026, students from across Region 9 will gather for SparkED, a dynamic future educators conference designed for 11th and 12th-grade students who are exploring careers in education.
Region 9 provides a wide range of programs and services designed to support schools, educators, and staff across our 37 districts. This includes professional development, instructional technology support, curriculum resources, mentoring for first-year teachers, leadership training, and specialized programs in areas like student wellness, business services, and district operations. Our goal is to meet the unique needs of each district and help every educator and learner succeed.

Region 9 provides Adult Education and Literacy programs to help adults build essential skills for employment, economic self-sufficiency, and further education. Our programs include English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction, high school equivalency preparation, and opportunities to participate in postsecondary education or workforce training through Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs. We support adults in preparing for careers in in-demand industries, entering or advancing in the workforce, and achieving their personal and professional goals.
You can register for workshops and training sessions through our online registration system. After completing a session, participants can access certificates of completion or professional development credit directly through the system, which can be saved or printed for documentation.
