This program provides consultative services to school district administrators and the public by interpreting SBEC rules, regulations, policies and procedures relating to the certification and assignment of school personnel. School districts and educators receive technical assistance regarding state requirements for teacher certification related to:
- Classroom assignment clarification
- Certification testing requirements for educators
- Registration for certification testing
- Assisting school districts as well as educators with their online TEA ECOS (Educator Certification Online System) and TEAL (Texas Education Agency Login) accounts
