Region 9 2022 Summer CTE Workshops and Trainings
Did you know that Adobe offers Creative Cloud Express at no charge to teachers and students? We want to make sure all educators in TX are aware of what is available to them. Creative Cloud is a tool that can be used with and by students & educators from k-12 general classrooms to of course CTE and other elective courses. Join us for the Adobe Creative Educator Level 1 workshop. During this hands-on experience, educators will create a web-based portfolio using Creative Cloud Express. Participants will explore the educational resources that Adobe has to offer to support teaching and learning. Upon completion of the session, educators will earn their Level 1 Adobe Creative Educator badge.
Career and Technical Education (CTE) is what makes dreams obtainable for all. And careers in technology are a game- changer that can make the dream a reality. Access to high quality career pathways in technology is possible through comprehensive skills development programs that focus on skills rather than diplomas and degrees. It is those verifiable skills and practical experience that employers seek that make high paying job opportunities possible, not a piece of paper hanging on a wall.
As the school year closes, please remember the professional development support needs of your new CTE teachers. Encourage them to attend one of the statewide CTE Teacher Training Professional Development Convenings that have been designed especially for them.
