Region 9 Service Area Map

Demographics

The Region 9 Education Service Center, located in Wichita Falls, Texas, provides consulting services to North Texas area school districts to help improve student performance and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of local school operations.  We also assist in implementing initiatives assigned by the legislature or the Commissioner of Education.

Region 9:

  • Includes 37 school districts
  • Covers 10,634.5 square miles and 12 counties
  • Provides service to over 36,000 students and over 5,500 staff members located on 105 campuses.

  •      92 Central Office Professionals
  •    924 Paraprofessionals
  • 1,065 Auxiliary Staff
