Health Screening Information for Fall 2020

The Vision and Hearing Screening Basic workshops will be provided online beginning in September, until we can conduct in-person certification.  Those who take the online basic workshops will receive provisional certification through December 31, 2021. These participants will not be required to do the practicum portion of the training at this time.  However, they will be required to sign up for an in-person recertification class and will have the practicum at that time before their provisional certification expires.

I have scheduled basic training classes that will start the week of September 1, 2020.

Again, each person who receives a provisional certification must take the recertification workshop in person before the end of 2021.

Participants will register on Eventbrite and the links to the schedule are below.  Please share the links with anyone who needs to be certified or recertified for vision and hearing screening.

Spinal screening has not been set up at this time.  You may let me know who needs this training and I am keeping a waiting list in order to notify when that has been scheduled.

Thank you for all your assistance in getting the information out to your area and coordinating efforts with me.  I appreciate all that you do to ensure nurses and daycare staff have the information they need.  Vision and Hearing Screening Recertification Schedule of Workshops  Basic Vision Screening Certification Schedule of Workshops  Basic Hearing Screening Certification Schedule of Workshops
