Welcome to Adult Education and Literacy! In response to COVID-19, we are offering Remote Learning (Face-to-Face classes) through the online Zoom platform. These classes are offered to current students and now to new students. If you are a new student, please contact us at 940-322-6928 or email us at email@example.com and leave your contact information. We will contact you to complete some initial paperwork and training before you enter our classes. Students are now required to have an email address so make sure you have it and check it frequently.

The Adult Education and Literacy Program provides adults with sufficient basic education that enables them to effectively acquire the basic educational skills necessary for literate functioning; participate in job training and retraining programs; obtain and retain employment; and continue their education to at least the level of completion of secondary school and preparation for post-secondary education. We have many partners throughout our 11 counties of the North Texas Workforce Board and continually seek to build new partnerships to improve our services to communities and provide our classes at no cost to the students.

To deliver education, workforce, and post-secondary education and training transition outcomes for students through innovative service delivery and partnerships that result in efficiencies, alignments, and accountability.
To promote and support a responsive and accountable system that creates value and supports local solutions to addressing the educational and workforce development needs of Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) customers, businesses, and community stakeholders.
To support increases in employment, postsecondary education and training transition, skill gains, and secondary completion through demonstrated approaches that integrate system services and leverage community partnerships.
