Region 9 Education Service Center’s Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) program celebrated the achievements of its 2025 graduates during a ceremony held Saturday, July 26, at Region 9 ESC in Wichita Falls.
Eleven students were recognized for earning their high school equivalency certificates this year, joining more than 400 adults who participated in the AEL program. Through classes in high school equivalency preparation, English as a Second Language, Certified Nursing Assistant training, and digital literacy, the program continues to equip learners with skills for success in education and the workforce.
Classes are offered both in-person and remotely across Region 9’s service area, which includes 11 counties supported by the North Texas Workforce Board. The AEL program partners with local organizations to expand access and opportunities for adult learners throughout the region.
Region 9 congratulates all of this year’s graduates on their hard work and dedication and looks forward to continuing to support adult learners in achieving their goals.
