The ESL Services Cooperative provides Bilingual/ESL services required by state mandates. Membership includes access to training, technical assistance, direct services and products.
Services and products provided:
State trainings for Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC) members (updates and end-of-year procedures) for district representatives
New coordinator training
LPAC handbook and documentation folders
Training in administering Language Proficiency Tests
Technical assistance in state policies, including testing/classification of Limited English Proficient Students, documentation requirements, program staffing requirements (ESL Waivers and Bilingual Exceptions), summer school requirements and program evaluations
Testing materials for members with less than five-second language learners, as identified in PEIMS
Up to one onsite visit for the administration and/or interpretation of the language assessment when a district lacks trained staff to administer required assessments
