Region 9 Education Service Center will host a College Fair on October 19, 2023, from 6:00 – 7:30 PM. All 9th-12th grade students in school districts served by Region 9 ESC are encouraged to attend along with their parents. Region 9 ESC is located at 301 Loop 11, Wichita Falls, Texas.

The College Fair provides students the opportunity to visit with representatives from universities and colleges from Texas, Oklahoma and other states. Representatives from military branches are also slated to attend, along with community organizations such as Texas Workforce Commission, Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation, etc. Representatives from Midwestern State University will present a session on avenues for financial aid. Region 9 ESC will have a representative to speak on careers in education.

Region 9 ESC School Counseling Specialist, Lacy Murphey, is available to answer questions from students, parents and high school counselors. High school counselors can also rovide registration and additional information to students.

Students may pre-register at: https://falltacrao.swoogo.com/registration, but pre-registration is not required to attend.

  • Print and bring barcode to the fair for colleges to scan in order to provide student information to selected colleges 
  • Students can show the barcode through the registration confirmation email received after registration is complete if they choose not to print
